Surya Dheeshjith

I am currently a Senior Data Scientist at Capital One's Core LLM and Agentic AI team. I was previously a Research Collaborator at Allen Institute for AI and a Deep Learning Researcher at New York University (Courant) working under the M2Lines Project. At both places, I worked on ocean emulation models. Prior to that, I completed my Masters in Computer Science at New York University (Courant).

Research Interests

  • Computer Vision
    Enabling machines to interpret and understand the visual world. I mainly explore problems that are related to long-range video generation and understanding.
  • Generative AI
    Harnessing large language models and agent-based frameworks to streamline daily tasks, research processes, and overall workflows.
